Green Building Resources

The green building resources & information section provides everything you need to know about green building, green construction, green design, green building practices, green building materials and products, and other information that will enable you to make environmentally responsible choices when embarking on a building project, whether it is new construction or a renovation or remodeling project.  Information is available about green building design & construction, grants, rebates, incentives & funding for green building projects, the LEED program, waste reduction, water & energy efficiency, sustainable development practices and more.  Resource links in this section are primarily from government agencies and non-profit organizations and provide up-to-date information and resources on all aspects related to environmentally responsible building and construction, from the initial design and planning process through completion and post-construction phases.

The American Institute of Architects is committed to the goal of reaching at least a 60 percent carbon emission reduction by 2010 and carbon neutral buildings by 2030.
